The Redding Rancheria is proud to provide an event that exemplifies the history and culture of our land.  It is very important to bring the culture back for our Community to understand who we are and why we are so proud to play a part.  The Redding Rancheria along with the committee, who are members of various Tribes, get together to create the Redding Rancheria’s Stillwater Pow Wow.  The Redding Rancheria’s Stillwater Pow Wow is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year.  The Redding Rancheria’s Stillwater Pow Wow features dancers, drummers, pageantry, honoring of elders, food from our culture, and hand game tournaments to provide the Community a glimpse of who we are.  Our friends from Indian Country visit the event from all areas of the United States.  It is a collaborative way for various Tribes to feature their regalia that represent the areas they live in.

The past should never be forgotten. Luckily, our friends here in Redding will keep history alive and present it to the present and new generations. This year, Win-River Resort & Casino and Redding Rancheria are proud to sponsor the 25th Anniversary of the Redding Rancheria’s Stillwater Pow Wow!

Celebrating 25 years, this event is a wonderful opportunity to learn about and experience the culture of the Native American People who lived and still reside in the Redding area. From Friday October 2nd to Sunday October 4th all families will be able to join in a healthy, cultural and family friendly atmosphere free of alcohol, and smoking. The event will feature a variety of contests, dances, vendors and a hand game tournament that will really reflect the pride of the people who live in this great area. The contests will even feature cash prizes and give our young girls and boys the chance to be crowned as one of the Stillwater Pow Wow pageant contestants! Tickets are $3 per person and will feature free parking.

Along with limited camping spaces, we here at Win-River Resort & Casino will also feature special room rates for only $65 per night. Just mention the code Pow Wow! The Stillwater Pow Wow event will be located at the Shasta County Fairgrounds on 1890 Briggs St, Anderson, California 96007. Get in on the fun now, before the chance passes you by, and experience the culture of the Native American People of Redding.
