Even though it is still 100° in Northern California it is officially Autumn and that means everything pumpkin spice. You either love it or hate it…. Have we taken pumpkin spice too far? Take it from me, a pumpkin spice addict…you can never take the spice of Fall too far. I count down the days until Starbucks releases their famous PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte.) It is so rewarding to see those three little letters on the side of my Starbucks cup. PSL Forever!
I am so addicted that I have a Pinterest board totally dedicated to all that is pumpkin spice. I pin anything pumpkin spice…from pumpkin spice log rolls, pumpkin chip cookies, to pumpkin spice donuts. I have a follower on Pinterest that cringes every September because she knows I will pin everything I see that is pumpkin spice. She is not a fan of this fabulous spice.
I plan on spending the next two months proving my theory that you can live solely on things made of pumpkin. By the end of October my blood type will be Pumpkin Spice. If you love pumpkin spice as much as I do please enjoy the attached recipe and remember “Keep Calm and Get Your Pumpkin On!”
