Back in the 1980s, Country music took a turn and, well, stopped sounding like Country music. As if we needed more pop music. Then came the rise of the “King of Country”, George Strait, whose look, style, and sound brought Country music back to its roots as he became one of the most influential and popular recording artists of all time.
Now the Buck Ford Pure Country Band is celebrating the singer, songwriter, actor, and music producer with a night of his greatest songs. Welcome to Strait Country.
Strait Country will salute George Strait on January 6, 2017 at Win-River Resort & Casino. Doors open at 6:30PM and the show starts at 7:30PM. Individual tickets are $15 per person, but you can gather all your friends and get a Table for Ten for $125. In case you’re not great at math, that leaves an extra $25 for drinks. And you can’t really fully experience the country stories of George Strait without a few drinks, right? Which means, if course, that you’ll need to be 21 to attend.
So Write This Down, if all your ex’s live in Texas you’ll want to leave Amarillo by Morning and start heading this way, and don’t let the policeman or The Fireman slow you down. I Cross My Heart, it will be a show you won’t want to miss. Check Yes or No on whether you’ll make it and then find The Chair you want to enjoy it from. If you think this is just another show that you don’t need to see, I’ve got some Ocean Front Property in Arizona to sell you. And if you buy that, I’ll throw the Golden Gate in free.
Strait Country. Strait Up!
