American music rocks. Sure, the British Invasion was chocked full of great bands and music too, but nothing beats some good old-fashioned ‘Merican rock and roll. And among the many icons of American rock music, two cover the feel and sound of this great country better than most – Tom Petty and Bob Seger. Tom Petty’s music is the quintessential sound of Southeastern rock, while Bob Seger’s songs make you long for the mid-eastern heartland.
So (here we go…), if you’re ready to work on your Night Moves because you’ve got Full Moon Fever, it’s time to start Runnin’ Down a Dream as you move down Main Street and work your way past Fire Lake like you’re Free Fallin’ and Learning to Fly at the same time. It’s time to stop running Against the Wind and just Turn the Page. After all, you’re Still the Same, and you don’t have to live like a Refugee. Even the Losers are welcome at this event.
Come out and see an amazing Tribute to Rock Legends Tom Petty and Bob Seger with the Double Trouble Tom Petty & Bob Seger Tribute, August 11 at Win-River.
