Win-River Resort & Casino is About Choice

As many of you may know, we recently converted a portion of our casino floor to accommodate guests that choose to smoke. The Hotel, our Eateries, the Poker Room, and our Events Center will continue to be smoke-free as they have been.

We appreciate all of the valuable feedback from our guests regarding this issue and would like to thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and concerns with us. Your feedback directly affects our decisions in matters such as these and offers insight we would otherwise not have.

We want you to know that this was neither an easy nor arbitrary decision. It was a delicate decision meticulously thought out and centered on working very hard at making everyone happy. We heard our guests and they made it clear; they want the choice to smoke within designated areas on the gaming floor. Altogether, approximately 30% of the casino will have smoking available, while the remaining majority will stay smoke-free.

As this transition occurs, we would like to assure you that we are investing significant time and resources to further improve our smoke-free areas. As it stands, we are actively making advancements and renovations pertaining to the air filtration system with the goal of boosting overall air quality. This is something incredibly important to us as we know how crucial it is to our guests and Team Members alike. We take pride in doing our best to accommodate everyone and we care deeply about the comfort of each and every one of our guests. This is the level of service we have become known for and will continue to strive for.

As well as working on air quality upgrades, we are also looking at updating the slot machines in the smoke-free areas to keep fresh the variety of games our guests have come to expect. We are also making assessments to the smoke-free gaming floor so as to add more inclusive space.

Everyone here at Win-River Resort & Casino works hard to provide first-class customer satisfaction and that means carefully evaluating our decisions at all levels. We will continue to work hard at accommodating our Team Members, guests, tribal members and our community. Thank you for your understanding and please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.
