You know that experience you had once that was just unbelievably awesome and unforgettable? Of course you do, it’s unforgettable. Well forget about that because we’ve got something better. What’s better than a cold brew or some bacon? Lots of cold brews and lots of bacon, and a festival of entertainment – to celebrate bacon and brew – thrown in for good measure. Good measure indeed. The 4th Annual Bacon and Brewfest is upon us at WRRC, (#bacon&brewfest), and is there really any other place on earth that you’d rather be on Friday, May 13th from 5pm-9pm? Is there? Really?? No, there’s not. Bacon. Brew. Fest. Appetizers, entrees, desserts, all inspired by bacon – as it was meant to be – and provided by local Redding restaurants. Specialty microbrews from area breweries. Live music by The Hill Street Band.

In other words, the perfect party.

But there are important details. Details such as the fact that you must be 21 or older in order to attend, but I’m sure you knew that. Tickets are a very affordable $20 and can be purchased at the River Club, at the event itself, and at the Redding Chamber of Commerce office. Get one for Dad while you’re at it. Early Father’s Day present.

Vendors for the 4th Annual Bacon and Brewfest include Fall River Brewery, WildCard Brewery, Hop Valley, Mad River, Toffee Girl, Sublime Cupcakes, Trader Joes, Elements, and California Brewing Co., among others.

Look, I understand if you have something better to do. No, actually I can’t. Because quite frankly I can’t imagine anything better than eating bacon in every way imaginable while drinking finely crafted local brews and listening to some really great music. Maybe it’s just me, but that’s pretty much the pinnacle. And for only $20? No-brainer.

So go ahead and cancel that second date, or your movie plans, or whatever else you might have considered doing May 13th. You don’t want to live your life in regret for missing the 4th Annual Bacon and Brewfest, always wondering – what if? What if??

Come. Bacon and brew await.
